Atheist Bus

fingertroubleIn anything but our recent Fundy times where most religious groups are stepping up their preaching, an idea for a Atheist bus campaign would seem ludicrous. Especially one by Richard Dawkins...saying 'There's probably no god. So stop worrying an enjoy your life.'
But not only has it happened, it's rather exceeded it's £5500 target and is currently at £96,000!

Now cue London Transport or someone bleating about causing offence...a bit hard since they've been running pro-religious ads, which is what caused this in the first place - one that linked to a site that prominently said all atheists were going to hell.

Nice that British Humanist Association are getting support, and some attention. It's important to fight back against the vocal nutters who seem to think they have the right to say, and do, whatever they want without criticism because of their faith. I have no problem with personal religion (cue Depeche Mode) but evangelising that my lifestyle is wrong and should be punished by death/hell/whatever mumbo jumbo, well that loses all tolerance points immediately. You can't be tolerant of intolerance...
