Well as you might have heard on the podcast, after seeing Daniel Johnston & co. on Good Friday, me and John went upto Banbury (it's a shithole) to see the Rollright stones (not a shithole) and then travel upto Warwick to see Warwick Castle and sights - really nice up there (better than shitty Banbury, it's cross isn't that impressive but I came up with the rhyme 'Ride a Horse Cock to Banbury Cross!' which makes the place sound more interesting than it is).

Warwick Castle had the re-enacters in (why does that sound like 'had the builders in'? I'm sure some of them where actually...) and saw the launching of flaming boulder (sadly not a queen) a Trebuchet (it's more than a font you know) siege machine. We were saying that they should put the small (screaming) children in there and get points for hitting the castle - extra points for a window! Yes John shares my sense of humour...stayed over at Warwick at a hotel that had a wedding party, obviously knackered the people there cos they 'closed' for the rest of the weekend saying they had a big party booking on which never materialised (or existed) and locked the doors - first time I've seen a hotel close. While I was staying in it!

Went to Oxford on the Monday; saw Christchurch gallery and inside (hey you can sneak in to see the main quadrant if you try!) and various other bobbins and then went home.

All in all a good time was had by all!

Next is Carluccis on Friday for b-day meal; and then the next Tim and Kirk podcast -(5 months in the making!) via Duckie and maybe a certain Mr Curry if I can convince Kirk to go - Adam is having a Podshow meeting with the UK podcasters in London...I'd like to go if I can drag Kirk along...
