Just found out that Marc Moulin one of the founder of Telex died a few days ago. Telex were an early electronic band, interestingly looking at their videos although the sound is very Kraftwerk, visually and humour-wise they are close to the situationist pranks of Devo or The Residents...(he's apparently the one without facial hair in the clip)

Moscow Diskow is a MAJOR track for me, I have heard other (later) stuff from "Sex' I think but it didn't do it for me, but who cares when that track rules so much? I must go find their first few LPs to see what I think.

Very sad though.

Bonus: Ever wondered what Kraftwerk would've been like if they'd entered the Eurovision Song Contest?

Well this is as close as you're gonna get (apparently Eurovision wouldn't allow them to use vocoders, probably making the song even more bizarre)
