fingertroubleKind of had an odd yet good NY so far. Last night Cordoba almost completely shut down; unlike London that comes alive on NYE - sometimes TOO much - it seems big celebrations aren't the thing here. Not even the Spanish TV cameras at Cordoba cathedral where I briefly appeared...was about 10-15 people. Fortunately we'd booked a meal, which after frogmarch/Francoesque first experiences was actually good and much Cava and wine had by all.
Today we escaped to Malaga which makes Cadiz look positively fun, but unlike Cordoba was open. The castillo walk was fun going up, coming down the slippery slopes for the wrong reasons. John finally admitted I was right to veto Malaga for Cordoba :-)
Off to Granada tomorrow for Alhambra attempt mk 2...but that's another story.
Hope everyone has had a good NY and has had fun bitching about how terrible 2007 was - no not read my friends yet, just guessing. And no you shouldn't have kissed him at the party ;-)
