iRiver and Musical Vision are shit

fingertroubleStill trying to get either a refund or a repair for Gerald (my dear departed H340 MP3 player/recorder) nearly 2 MONTHS LATER and been fobbed off repeatedly by the seller - Musical Vision in Tottenham Court Road, London...they said before it was iRiver's delay but after 2 months I'm starting to wonder.
Really unhappy about all this - after only 5 months usage and crap battery life the iRiver finally died; then 2 months of farting around while I get passed to pillar and post (or iRiver and Musical Vision in this case).
Sadly it's looking like an officlal letter job and then maybe small claims court - anybody got idea how to do that? Or any other suggestions what to do? I'm getting seriously ignored and never called back; people are 'away' or 'at lunch'; it's very suspicious and just annoys me. Musical Vision have only called me ONCE in 2 months, and that was just now after much screaming at them? And was to tell me that the only person who knows anything about it is 'away' today, and he'll 'phone tommorow morning' - where have I heard that one, I'll eagerly await that call...
Please don't buy from Musical Vision on Tottenham Court Road, London (it's one of the ones near the Odeon) as their after sales support is shite. And seriously think again about iRiver - sadly such a once great company has gone down the pan, taking out useful functions, stopping making players like the H340 that record, and having NO SUPPORT AT ALL.
If it wasn't for the much-needed line-in record features, I'd be thing close to going with Zen or Apple...or maybe going with a pro portable smart/flash card recorder. Which I might have to do anyway now that the H340s are discontinued, and if I ever get my refund...
