Boring Bank Holiday Sunday

fingertroubleAfter a really nice meal by my Dad's partner last night with John and my Dad (beautiful Cava - which according to the label had 'exuberant mouthfill'! - and lamb chops with new potatoes), today was spent touring with my Dad and John to see the sights of West Sussex.
Saw the mosaics at Bignor Roman villa (very good, anyone who says that the best Roman mosaics are abroad should check these out first; I've done Pompeii,Tivoli, Rome, Naples and Herculaneum and these are of a similar quality if not scale), and then got dragged round a few churches, hence the boring bit.
And meant all the pubs had stopped serving food by the time John had done with his Magical Mystery Medieval Church tour...Gah.
