I'm sure all the perm people are now going say 'I told you so' - these are the perils of freelancing....
Turns out that the fault was with the agencies - one sat on some invoices that needed resending/were wrong since SEPTEMBER and early October - 2 1/2 weeks work - that won't be paid for a week. :-(

The other agency hadn't sent the funds over - so for last week I should be paid on Monday - I sincerely hope they are quicker that 2 weeks in future.

So no wonder I'm in serious debt; with nearly a month of work that should have been paid, hasn't been paid....!

So this means I have a a miserable weekend to look forward to where I cannot spend a single penny, unless I can use my credit card.  *Sigh*

And everytime I phone the bank they treat me like some kind of debtor scum...I explain the situation and they just don't want to know. Unhelpful fuckers - still tried to sell me some 'plus' account that costs more, though.

I'm sorry about the situation. It must be different here (at least it was when I was working through agencies). Here, they HAD to pay even if the client didn't or was late or misplaced an invoice. That' was one of the reasons I went with agencies instead of doing my own billing--they had the clout to get the money.
