My excema is quite bad - not Dennis Potter level but I'm in a fair bit of pain as it's in an embarassing sort of area you don't mention in public blog posts...  I have to work though, no choice about that but sitting down is painful. Sleep is bad also, so I'm tired; the creams given to me last time don't really work for bad cases, the steroidal cream which is really effective ran out ages ago; and cleared up the last lot.

 And the first I can get a doctors appointment is the 20th! AARGH! I need to switch doctors to a practice that can see me quicker than 2-3 weeks - and this is the central surgery in the new centre, not just some surgery in the sticks....crap, utter crap.

In the meantime....scratch scratch ouch. Well trying not to scratch. Sigh.

I have pencilled Thursday in my extensive, busting at the seams social diary...between dinner on the Wednesday with Warner executives about my new script and flying to Venice on the Friday for a quiet weekend. Hope you feel better by then.

I am so sorry that you're dealing with this. :( Psoriasis runs in my family -- luckily I seem to have escaped it -- so I have a lot of sympathy for painful, embarassing itchiness.
