I'm literally crying with laughter here...an animated series Fat Pie, apparently - I don't have a TV but this is a classic spoof of all reality programmes, with the wonderful David Mitchell narrating:
What makes this funny is a) the BBC text phone vote scandal and the fact that upto then and even since all programmes are obsessed with getting you to text in, especially Big Brother et al (which is Channel 4 so still does the text in thing)
And as mentioned on Radio Clash, here's David Firth's very funny clip about those Mercury/best of 2009? type programmes which as they point out in the end are POINTLESS cos actually the marketing budgets for the Bat for Lashes, the Little Boots, the Florence and the Machines and the Glasvegases has already been spent so YOU'D BETTER LIKE IT cos there isn't anything else.
And doesn't Dex Mantis sound like La Roux (another extremely over hyped musical 2009 person who is 'industry' as Tracey Goodwin's daughter, ala Lily Allen)
