Finally uploaded Egypt photos and the South Africa photos - 2,030 photos down to 623 between them...that's why it took so long, that and getting bored half way through many many times!

I have some great shots in there though, here's a selection:

One guess what this is...

Tahrir Square. Yes That Tahrir Square...this was on the Saturday before the violence kicked off. Peaceful.

Visited one of the 16th century houses...it was amazingly beautiful, and very cool (in all ways).

Candelabra over a (ritual?) bath.

Abu Simpel. Most of my pics don't give the scale - this one does. One of the tomb guardians.

Temple of Philae - this is in the temple of Hathor, it's apparently a musician! Love the beard ;-)

This is probably my favourite picture...I went on long night walks in Cairo and Aswan to parts of the city that weren't touristy. This is a grab shot of a small motorcycle workshop in Cairo.

Sand dune...in that direction it's basically the Sahara from then on! Took a camel ride in the desert to St Sebastian's monastery.

Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut's temple.

Revolutionary graffiti - I took many pictures of that.
