hmm not an update

Look at the piles of links, photos and music posts I've done recently looks as bad as a meme-fest, for which I apologise. Problem is, I've resolved to say nothing if it's going to be an emo-style post. Hence the silence.
Thing is, I've been ill - 2 consecutive bad colds, and now doing my back in which has taken me 2+ weeks to get better from and still is not great. These have meant apart from the odd (and usually damaging) soiree I've not only been a (virtual?) recluse I've also been worried about money and how Dec/Jan is going to pan out. These things have not lead to a happy Timmy at all - along with the usual S.A.D. stuff, excema and asthma in the mix. I just healthwise have got to the 'ENOUGH ALREADY' stage. I missed at least 2 days of work already in the past couple of months - which means I don't get paid. :-(
Currently working at a company near Cambridge Circus doing theatre banners - yes Michael Ball is apparently 'wonderful' and some boys north of NY want you to go and visit them this Xmas. Doing some nice work and a it's a nice place to work. The god of Dooce says I won't comment further here ;-) Only for another week though, fingers crossed for more.
So loading up on vitamins trying to eat better (a bout of feeling faint/dodgy stomach and dizzy feeling crap tonight - additional to the all above - meant I avoided my now-less usual Chinese and cost wise that's probably wise) and wondering how this exercise phobic can strengthen up my back muscles and get healthier, really. I spend too much time sitting at work and home and that's the problem, why my health is shot. But I hate team sports, swimming pools are full of annoying kids and don't really think joining the girls in aerobics is my style ;-) And before the gym-borg start, at the moment I can't afford a gym. And won't most likely, even if I had the money I'd avoid any recurring extra expenditure atm. Already starting to cut out or plan to cut out certain 'extras' and will continue to do so until I know what 2009 brings.
And the crap weather and my back haven't really lent themselves to long walks or such exercise.
Hmmm. So you can see why I post photos, tunes and links can't you? LOL.
