You know what I find weird

...'everything from rainy days and mondays', says everyone.
Well the weird du jour is this - posted my semi-official (got the thumbs up from DJ Earworm and on his blog and loads of others) video for Reckoner Lockdown over a week ago, and people are still posting their own still-image versions of it. It's not like my video has been hidden into a corner or anything...and it's not the definitive article, if someone was posting an alternate take, but dumping the image of Thom and Kanye with the mashup onto YouTube - apart from the original one (the guy preferred mine who made that) that was already there - well, it's just weird.
I gave the NY Observer a piece of my mind for the 'random' comment too. Pah. Really a lot of my work gets that comment, but I have to say even at 3 hours a lot of thought went into thinking how the pieces could fit together, it wasn't like click-paste-random dump...in fact I didn't even start it til I'd made sure the two videos could be compatible and I had ideas around them.
And as regards my mixes, podcasts and other stuffs - it's not my fault I make non-obvious connections and pattern-jumps in my brain...it doesn't mean it's 'random' though! It's mostly all thought through, far too much and anally at that.
