fingertroubleOK spur of the moment and a self-present for a stressful week at work (and 4-6 weeks of income) I decide I fancied a larger iPod nano, went to the Regents St store. After trying it, finding it good (yet strangely no coverflow? Maybe you can only get that on the Touch?) I spent ages to find a 'Genius' (no bar) to find all the frigging hoo-har about being able to buy these IMMEDIATELY is utter utter bollocks, they don't have the 16Gb. Not sold out, not arrived yet.
Oh well, lost sale and I'll probably not bother until a) it's cheaper or b) I have the money definitely in my pocket. This is a FAIL on Apple because marketing was successful (but not successful enough to inform me the 16gb was grolsched), but the distribution was not. And unlike the idiots that queue up for weeks for a PS3 or Wii I'm a spur of the moment person, and will quite easily shift to a Zune or another product or not even buy at all.
