Our Gentleman in Girona

fingertroubleHere I am in a cafe in the hilltop medieval (or earlier) city of Girona in Spain supping Xocolat (no it´s not hot chocolate as we in the UK know it! It has REAL chocolate in it) and warming up my ears. This place is an amazing mix of Roman, Catalan, Gothic and Medieval...all layered.
Barcelona´s been pretty good - no major food disasters, had Xmas dinner on the beach at a Fish restaurant - weirdly 26th and 25th was worse than Xmas eve, the usual stress time for going hungry as a tourist. Done the Parc Guel and various Gaudybits, the scene here is OK (but where are the bears!?!) but don´t go to Martins - hotel is near New Chaps so been hanging out there, done the Olimpic and beach and the MNAC. More Gaudi to come...
Taken loads of pictures (500 and counting...) and recorded Show 58 of Radio Clash (Barcelona Bathroom Cast!), may upload it tonight if I can find an internet cafe with USB facilities, this terminal has been dumbed down interestingly to make it more like a Mac. With a Spanish keyboard..a.rrrgh!
