So it turns out it might not be stress or caffeine after all - I have low Calcium and Vitamin D levels in my blood.

So they whole 'let's drop milk and coffee to fix it' might actually have been the worse thing to do...also the general advice to reduce fat means you tend to avoid dairy (I'd thought I'd eat enough cheese to knock over a horse, though, and do) and don't drink milk means lower Calcium levels I guess, or I don't metabolise it as well....

Vitamin D I do know about, or guessed - hence more walking in the sunshine. So it's calcium tablets tomorrow...err, yum.

Hopefully you can easily bring up your levels. I take flavored chewable calcium tablets -- big history of osteoporosis in my family so I've taken calcium supplements in some form for years -- if you don't fancy the plain ones. Some of them taste like caramels. Pricier but I have issues with large pills, so I prefer chewable or liquid vitamins anyway. :)

If you take your calcium with vit. D it's better absorbed by the body. Over here they suggest 2 600mg Calcium one in the morning one in the evening. Glad it's something that's easily dealt with.

That's interesting. I've been all twitchy lately and assumed it was caffeine. Yet another reason to find another doctor.
