Proto Bear art- Rodrigo?

Picked up this really cool spanish graphic novel (I can feel qxbear scowling disapprovingly LOL...no it´s not a comic novel) by Rodrigo called Manuel - seems to be a collected works of a experimental comic strip done in the early to late 80´s about a gay bear on the Madrid scene in 1983-87...yes a BEAR in 1983?

I had to buy it, it´s amazing and really messes with the format, from changing into Marc Chagall and Cubism to interspersing whole spreads with (sadly spanish) pisstakes of trad comic strips to display what seems to be a mental and total breakdown, to bear sex and furry men and cottaging and crusing.

It´s very cool - I´ll post a few scans, but anyone know more about this artist? It´s all in Spanish...

Oh and SPanish keyboards are a F**ING nightmare.

well it´s in Castillian Spanish, but the originals might be Italian...I don´t read enough Spanish to tell!
