Not new but just spotted this 'researching' the biggest selling singles of 2008...mostly biggest pieces of shite of 2008 - of which the original Nickleback tune was one big steaming one.

Weirdly how a parody + pictures + man in a dress says more about the sad cult of celebrity and the sorry state of pop than 10,000 articles...I hope in 2009 we lose this obsession with celebrity, because it has caused the very brainrot that probably has lead to the economic, political and intellectual crash of 2008.

Texted you yesterday about us arriving back today. Which we will do sometime early evening I guess.

Yes I got it - just plans are rather unclear over NYE, so open to offers. Friday night I expect I'll be spending with John, but could meet up for drinks in the late afternoon - or are you working on the Fri?

Probably be in the Kings Arms unless John wants to meet elsewhere...the weekend I'm free, might be going to somewhere on Sat night locally to see DJ Yoda, but otherwise I'm free. NYE is similar although I expect John will want to know very soon if I'm around...

Working Friday.
Stayed in last night as Paul's knee has gone (again), probably due to me dragging him around places for sale in Brighton (all pants). Saturday may well be going down there again now we have somewhere to stay. Depends on his knee.
Just tell me any night next week and...
I'll be there (done in young, pre-freaky Michael Jackson voice).

Yeah I had a good one last minute - managed to wangle a ticket to a night a friend DJs at and had a great time...probably a bit too great since I've only just woken up ;-) The morning was the usual grey New Year's Day so I think I didn't miss much.

Sorry to hear about Paul's knee, I know how horrible that can be when John's knee went or when it's having trouble...I think only having probs the back is worse.

Monday would be good next week, or Thursday or Wednesday if not? Be good to see you! :-)
