Yeah this is more interactive, very FOAF; quite Myspace but the Friends feature makes it really, I can scan a load of people's blogs easily. Bloglines is supposed to do that, but doesn't seem to. I like that - has a sense of community.

Also as Mutantpop and Valusehosts seems to have gone AWOL again it's nice to have a backup blog or somewhere I can chat about other stuff away from Radio Clash...

Hey I used to run my own blog but Jeb talked me into getting on LJ too. It's less creative but if you want to interact with people you have to go where they are, right?

yes but it's a US phenemenon - the UK bears don't use LJ at all...very strange! They seem to hang out on Gaydar and Bearwww and a few on Myspace now.

I prefer blogging rather than a sexual space - much more creative. But my bear site - http://www.tbaker.org/ shows how much I update my bear stuff LOL so we'll see!

interestingly, I don't know many of those ppl, although [info]holy13nation I think I've seen around and mentally woofed at; I have a think for long-bearded/victorian bearded guys. I went to Uni with a guy called Karl who I had a major crush on who looked like that, friend of mine but although writing "I Bloodbrother Be" he was straight as a die, seemingly :-(

I'd like to know more about him but then again I'm a weedy non-biker untatted geek, so I doubt we'd have much to talk about..

Just wanted to say hi -- I'm pleased to have a crossover of two of my addictions: LiveJournal and podcasts. I never miss one of yours since discovering it a few months ago, and it helps to pass the workdays quite nicely indeed.

If it's not evident from my username it would be from my userinfo -- not a bear (I'm a married poly bi girl). I feel the need to say so as finding other bears seemed to be your impetus for joining LJ. But I'm quite happy to read your journal, all the same. The whole "friending" process here is an odd one, and I wouldn't take offense if you didn't friend me as well. Cheers!

tbh we might share more than you think... seems like a lifetime away but I used to be on some of the poly lists and got on great with oddly not the poly gay men (the few they were) but the poly bi/lesbian women/womyn on there...

I learned so much about relationships from them (pink fluffy stupids?), they really had it sussed...so yes you're very welcome, here and on Radio Clash! :-D

I was on some poly lists long ago as well -- I left after I couldn't take some of the drama anymore. I definitely get along better with men in general than women (just because I am one doesn't mean that I understand them!), so yes, no doubt we have things in common. Thanks for the welcome! =)
