I'm throwing away all my old work sketchbooks and old papers, as a slow attempt to tidy my room up eough to get the bombsite after the builders did their worst....continuing the work from when I started cleaning the place over a month ago.
I've also done same in my virtual life; trimming my FL (in one case, upsetting someone, I didn't know LJ sends notifications of leaving, nor that people really find it so odd that I decide to drop people off my FL for a while, it happens - nothing personal but if I don't want to read a blog for a while or I'm not interested I will eventually defriend someone rather than keep skipping those unwanted posts) and cleaning up my groups that spammed me in SL.
It's an emotional journey really, strange how the building work has triggered me to start sorting stuff out; and deciding what stays and goes - hard to throw out work but you can't keep it forever.
Anyone want a 17" monitor, loads of CD cases and a portable colour TV?

and stops my mind from wandering
where it will go
I'm filling the cracks that ran though the door
and kept my mind from wandering
where it will go
And it really doesn't matter if I'm wrong
I'm right where I belong
I'm right where I belong
See the people standing there
who disagree and never win
and wonder why they don't get in my door
