Polyday

14
October, London

This looks interesting - wondering whether to go? Seems pretty sensible time-wise and rule-wise (even the undercover journo comment, which is very likely given the bad UK tabloid press, something like that got John the ephiphet 'The Evilest Man in Britain' by the Daily Express on an event he arranged in the 70's! I like being partnered with the Evilest Man In Britain....mwahAHAHAHAHAHA!)

And yes btw if you didn't know I'm a polybear in an open relationship :-D No squawk jokes, please...:-P

'The Evilest Man in Britain'...what did he do? Have sex with Genesis P-Orridge on the floor at the ICA while wearing used tampons as dreads...?

LOL

I think he organised a gay rights conference (at a Library I think?) and let the MBLA (Man Boy Love Association) speak at it...they crucified themselves anyway. John was never comfortable with that lot, they creeped him out, but being a political activist I think he thought it best they were allowed to have their say. Undercover reporter was there, and thus big splash the next day.

Second most interesting thing he did was appear on BBC2 defending cottaging...when working at Hackney secondary school. Apparently they were OK about it. Can't imagine that now...

One of these days I'm going to track down that front cover and make a t-shirt :-D
