train nightmare

fingertroubleOne of the downsides of working where I am is that I always suffer from the delays on the trains, although I'm going to opposite direction and there is a frequent service so I just manage to usually miss the worst.
Well not today, a little bit of wind causes a lot of chaos, trains down on the Southend line meant I wasn't in til 10am today - total chaos at Liverpool St and hardly any trains running (I got the only one going to Shenfield). TBH I'd have given up if all trains had been off.
I have this to look forward later on, as I doubt it'll be settled by evening...'
