Radio Clash LIVE - 24/7
Feb. 24th, 2013 06:02 pmIf you've listened to the feed since this morning, you'd have noticed it's been live (with a few umm, unplanned interruptions - thank you MP3Gain taking upto 80% CPU!) with podcasts from the Radio Clash/Digital Debris back catalogue. Yes you can now listen to Radio Clash 24/7 - with 'Mix at 6' every day (about to kick in shortly) with mixes from my back catalogue, and live broadcasts every Wednesday at 8pm.
The iTunes/VLC or any media player that supports MP3 Internet Radio should play it also, which you can find the links here (click on M3U or XPSF)
GEEKAGE: I've setup a Linux server on my old Minimac (hmm, PowerPC & Linux? RUN AWAY. Srsly. Get an Intel machine - in fact if anyone has an old Intel Minimac going spare they don't use...several days of Linux codey hell later, and it's still a bit underpowered) running Airtime which is a clever Radio Station server thingummy - pretty clever apart from the fact it can't just automate entirely so I do need to 'schedule' each block, it has what it calls dynamic blocks which can shuffle through your library but sadly these can't be automatically repeated each day (yet).
