fingertrouble: taken as part of Radio Clash Traffic Island Discs (tim DJing)
What I wore to Bootie London, and indeed DJ'd in:

First time wearing a kilt. I really love it now...planning to wear them more often, I got nothing but nice comments from people and random hugs in the street for wearing it. Also got a new leather vest, and yes Steve that's the Too Fast To Live - Too Young To Die tshirt you gave me :-D And yes I probably need a sporran, could have gotten one but they looked too much like purses to me. I know, man in a skirt upset about wearing a purse, but...

And some of you might recognise where the look is from, which links into Bootie via Bootie SL.

Bootie London went well - played a Old Skool - New Skool set of mainly british bootleggers, or old Bastard (the first bootleg club in London( hits, first hour was retro and the last hour was more upbeat and included some newer stuff or unreleased mashups from me. Great to play the likes of Frenchbloke, Soulwax, Freelance Hellraiser, Fondue Meltdown, Bitter Sound Foundation, Lyd, GHP, Soundhog, Ian Fondue etc. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, although the place only really filled up around 8ish.

It was Eric Kleptone's birthday too...

Last night I went rather less attired (although missing my kilt I thought give it a rest, I think I might have gotten more *ahem* attention if I had, then again it'd probably be from the drunk dykes!) to Duckie with Kirk for a birthday outing...great time was had by all but I'm really suffering today, only really got up now at 4:30. Ouch.

Bootie London pics are online despite struggling with a very crappy iPhoto - it really doesn't work well with Flickr does it?
