Given the fact my telephoto lens, although good has barrelling on it's widest aperture, so some correction needed there...yes I know you can get proper sharp dedicated wide-angle lenses.
Yes I know how much they cost as well - that glass/optical correction doesn't come cheap. I don't have the spare £500-1000+ (and not much difference second hand £300-500ish?) either...
This is why I rarely do landscapes, from the lenses to the filters and the massive cameras and carbon fibre tripods (cos the rest of the gear is so heavy unless you have a car, another cost), to do it properly it's a mugs rich man's game. ;-)
