Brighton sur Meh

I with Kirk have been debating to whether to go to Brighton all week; I woke up late and it was raining, so I didn't go (so I'm in the same boat as you Lilith-Bear - as someone so beautifully described it on one of my friend's blogs - refuseniks).

Shame I'm missing tga play, but the thing about Brighton is it's great if you have a place to crash, if not the party stops at 10/11 as you dash for the last proper train home (yes I know about the Gatwick train, but would cost me loads to get back from there and take me hours) - and yes the cost. And after the utter exhaustion of last weekend, I couldn't face the crowds and possible rain...

John didn't even know it was on, I reminded him, and he wasn't sure he was going either (if he'd been more sure I'd have probably gone and arranged to meet). Scott's just texted me to say he's there. I've played that trying-to-find-someone-without-a-mobile-in-a-crowd-of-1000s-game and I'd rather not try again. Hope he has a nice time though.

So I'm just going to set off to see with Kirk what a queen-free London looks like (with the exception of Scott before he hits me) as they are all down in Brighton! But unless something changes between now and 10pm I doubt clubbing etc. is on the cards, and again cost money (not as much as a trip to Brighton with all those London-sur-mer sudden price hikes in the drinks!!!)
