Baaa Humbug yes I'm a sheep
Jan. 6th, 2008 06:46 pmJust joined Tribe - seems loads of bears and music people I know are on there, and I like the ability to add blogs. I'm increasingly bored by Facebook, never use Myspace. I like the fact I can do modules like FB but without FB's bullshit, flakiness, advertising and invasive tracking, the only reason I don't leave FB is that John and Scott are on there, otherwise it would be dust.
Doesn't work with Wordpress blogs though, BAD TRIBE. Radio Clash has a perfectly happy good RSS feed, but I expect that it's PHP extension and not XML is why it doesn't work. Not clever.
Even so...I wish there was one place I could combine all of these, post to all of them, and display all of them. There are too many social networking sites to be viable in the long run - several of these will die.
Most I don't visit anymore, but I would if they were all in one place.
