fingertroubleJust seen Quatermass Conclusion (aka Quatermass IV with John Mills, alas the 70 minute version, not the full series) for the first time in over 25 years.
Scared me shitless as a kid along with Day of the Triffids, and Children of the Stones (both revisited recently)
I know others like earlier Quatermasses (sp?) but for me John Mills performance of a man getting older and realising science didn't have the answer was the best, and the whole thing with stone circles and people being beamed into space was scary.
That only leaves The Changes, which I've never seen but always wanted to 'cept it was never released on DVD or VHS, although it was on UK Gold last year...anyone?
Certainly it helped me wind down after a stressful day - the actual job I'm doing went well, it's the other things - just fired back an email I sent that totally contradicts what the client claims.
It's just annoying when it gets like this, petty you know? All for a day's work, which in the big scheme of things on a big project is nothing. Just gives me bad blood and a bad taste in my mouth.
