I tend to regret the things I said short term, but the long term regrets are the things I didn't say.

Apart from the occasional embarrassment reminder. My brain has this lovely ability to call up a really embarrassing moment in my life and feel exactly as I felt. At a random moment in time, with no trigger or cue...just to keep me in my place, I guess. Frigging unconscious!
