It was actually for a project in Barcelona. A woman who had her breasts removed for cancer had some thighs stem cells cultivated in Bristol to generate adipous tissue to use in the breasts.
Easyjet sais that it was forbidden luggage, period.
Now, why did the use this? It seems that it's common practise with "regular" airlines, provided it's a certified system. However, only Easyjet fly to Barcelona from Bristol so it was their only choice
