Wedding photos
Aug. 27th, 2011 01:55 pmJames and Kellie's wedding was yesterday - stayed over at the hotel last minute, they're flying out to Thailand tonight! It was a lovely day, service was at St Michaels in Betchworth (where one of the weddings in Four Weddings was filmed) and the reception was at Hartfield Manor which is an amazing place. Didn't see the ghost though.

Hat Swap! Actually I look quite good in a Fascinator really (Keep Feeling it, anyhoos) but she got the better deal in this photo...

Yes this is what I wore, Tim contains:
Top Hat (camden cheapie jobbie since silk plush ones are scary money) which as Kirk said was a complete WHORE as it got worn by more people for longer than I wore it, probably
c. 1900 Vintage Evening Suit, tailored and strangely fits me
Silk dickie bow (self tie)
Lindsay tartan waistcoat
Victorian wing collar shirt
Blue braces (not shown) we had to emergency buy those in Dorking as I'd forgotten them
CAT Boots...well they didn't show and I don't have any proper special shoes yet.

It may say Parma but you're not supposed to eat it, Tim...

Kirk looked very fly for a purple guy too. As someone said 'You've come as a Yoghurt!' - Fruits of the Forest! Both of us looked like the entertainment - I looked like I'd get a rabbit out of my hat at any moment and Kirk looked like he was going to say 'Look around the eyes not in the eyes...and you're in the room *snap*!'
Full set (well this is a small part of the photos Kirk took, might get copies of those) of the Wedding photos here: https://picasaweb.google.com/115246594873527352660/JamesSWedding?authkey=Gv1sRgCM_XkPeo3qGRBw
