An idea from a listener to do a show of mashup firsts - the first mashups that people heard and got them into mashups...which might be the first or the 50th - but what was the first one that made you sit up and take notice?
If I get enough responses, I'll do a show, with shout outs to the ones I play :-D
For me it was Girls on Top (aka Richard X) - Warm Bitch which I stumbled across at Sister Ray, a record shop in Soho. They were playing it on 7". Wish I'd bought that now!
