Photos and memories brought back by Geograph - just reached it's millionth image (weird, I remember when it started or when it was pretty new!).
I lived here (Much Wenlock) as a kid permanently for a year - even went to school there - but visited for most of my childhood as my parents had a cottage there - real dump of a place originally, they did it up themselves every weekend...and looking at the pictures it seems like a wonderland - obviously living there with non-existent bus service and everything shutting on Sundays it wasn't really the best place as a kid, but even then I realised how beautiful the place was and was sad when my mother sold the cottage and moved to London, severing my link to the place.
Much Wenlock is where the Olympics movement started, fact fans!
