Well, part of the problem is, there's really no venue on US TV for these shorts. Don's basically a one man distributor with very limited output. The best he can do, which is not inconsiderable, is in the US there are plenty of traveling animation shows that go from city to city to art houses and colleges-things like Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted Animation Festivals. Network television here simply isn't all that into indie cartoons with content. A rare exception is Robert Smigel who gets his animated shorts onto "Saturday Night Live"-his stuff is quite good, but he's the exception.
