Last Temptation OST
Might seem odd for me to listen to this, but in my foundation year I fell in love with Peter Gabriel's soundtrack for Last Temptation of Christ (it's called Passion). Distinctly scary and reminded me of Aphex (actually at the time I hadn't heard of Aphex, so a more formative earlier influence.)
Very evocative and only 'world' stylings in the sense of place, rather than gratuitous, seems appropriate here...in fact the electronics sound more relevant to the story that the rest.
Not sure about the film, never seen it, but the soundtrack is amazing.
Question: wasn't there also a companion album of the tracks he sampled for 'Passion'?
