That kind of sucks.

But how can an airline possibly do anything to mitigate climate change? The only thing they could do is to fly only when the plane is 100% full. Most of your plane ticket money goes directly to buying and burning jet fuel, so short of ceasing operations entirely, it is only the passengers that can do anything significant about climate change - by taking the train instead of flying.
