I never play for gay crowds IRL though - it was a clean divorce - me and them have mutually decided that our musical tastes do not collide! To be honest I've rarely ever or never played for purely gay audiences.

I think I'd be OK in the US where the gay scene has more musical styles, at least in the bars. Here the bars, clubs et al - all bad trance music. That's what they want, with Kylie and Madonna and 80's music, and I don't play that. It's sad cos I'd like there to be a crossover between the gay, mashup and remix communities but as I and others have found in the UK at least it aint happening...they want their drug music!
