More infrared from the 'lost' Lindisfarne film

These have been a total pain - turns out Nikon Scan only on the 8000 clips the highlights, leading to rather frustrating blown out white areas (like in this crab for instance). After MUCH fiddling gave up and bought another bit of software. Odd cos for colour negs and slides it's brilliant. And I do prefer the contrast of the Nikon Scan software, just not the grainy blown out look...

I love the ghostly/otherworldly feel of these, and in some the hyper grainy fogging your stuff look like it's from 1889 (it's called halation, the bouncing around of light inside the camera and the silver crystals/film. Like old films HIE didn't have a modern 'anti-halation layer' which stops the light bouncing back again through the film which causes that glow effect). I love it! Also vegetation comes out white and the sky black.
